A Message to Parents and Scouts

Welcome to Troop 71! These pages serve as a guide and set of rules for parents and Scouts of Troop 71. Use and refer to this guide as long as you are in the Troop.

A Troop calendar of events is available on this site. Also, a Troop calendar and other sheets for specific outings will be provided to Scouts and parents. Please keep these handouts; they are your guide to what is happening within the Troop, and it is the parents' and Scouts' responsibility to know what is going on in the Troop.

We're Going to Philmont!

Troop 71 has been selected to attend Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico in August 2010!

Philmont Scout Ranch is the Boy Scouts of America's oldest national high-adventure base. Its 34 staffed camps and 55 trail camps provide an unforgettable adventure in the high country along hundreds of miles of rugged, rocky trails.

This is an amazing opportunity for our Troop. More details will be available in the weeks and months to come.
